Tiny Trots: June Session
If you have a little one interested in horseback riding but not quite old enough to ride on their own yet, we offer our 4 week Tiny Trots series! Spend an hour together each week outdoors at the ranch and away from screens! Parents will work in tandem with their kids to learn the basics of horse safety, handling, grooming, leading (as a parent/child team) and an introduction to riding. Each session is 60 minutes.

What We’ll Be Learning
Week 1: Orientation, getting to know our horses, & basic horse safety.
Week 2: Horse body language, groundwork, leading as a parent/child team, & grooming.
Week 3: Learning how to tack up (saddle and bridle) & introduction ride.
Week 4: Put it all together! Groom, tack up, and ride!
Please note; we will not be riding until weeks 3 & 4
Cost: $200/Rider
Appropriate for ages 2.5 to 6.
1 to 4 students per session.
Sessions are 60 minutes.
This is a small group class & covid-safe. When multiple students are present, masks will be worn by by riders when not on horses and always worn by parents.
To sign up, there must be a 1:1 parent/child ratio.
A second parent with one child is welcome!
Parents will be involved in the lessons but do not ride.
Older riders who demonstrate strong focusing and motor skills will begin to learn to do more unassisted by parents, but parents must be present for the entire lesson.
In weeks 3 and 4, anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes will be spent in the saddle, depending on the ability level of each rider.
